Training of irrigation experts in Sub-Sahara Countries has ended.

"The Modern Irrigation Techniques' training organized by  Ministery of Agriculture and Forestry Department of Training and Publication and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) has ended. Within the scope of the project supported by the Islamic Development Bank, 10 irrigation experts working in the Ministries of Agriculture of Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Senegal, which are known as Sub-Saharan Countries, participated in the theoretical and practical training held on March 18-29, 2019.

 

The closing ceremony was held on Friday, 29th March. The ceremony was attended by Söke District Governor Tahsin KURTBEYOĞLU, Training Center Manager Lütfi ÖZENÇ, TİKA Representative Sami DUR, Islamic Development Bank Project Director Selçuk DAĞ and Islamic Development Bank Regional Manager Oussema TRİGUİ.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, the TIKA representative stated that this training was a start and said that they would work to make these and similar trainings continuous at Söke TAYEM.
